GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC Awarded NOAA NESDIS Cloud Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Transition BPA

Supporting NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Cloud Transition GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC has been awarded our third task order on our National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Services (NESDIS) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for their Cloud Transition Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). GAMA-1 Technologies’ Subject Matter Experts in co-operation with NESDIS Cloud Federal team are developing NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF) to process satellite data to produce L2b+ products. The NCCF framework is based on Using AWS services, Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS), Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL RDS, Amazon storage service S3, EBS, etc. The L2b+ products are used by the Science community all over the world, including National Weather Service.

NESDIS provides secure and timely access to global environmental data and information from satellites and other sources to promote and protect the Nation’s security, environment, economy, and quality of life in Silver Spring, MD.
