Josh Brady has been a testament to this trifecta for nearly eight years, showcasing dedication and expertise in his role. His contributions to NOAA and the Office of Low Earth Orbit Observations (LEO) have been invaluable, offering graphic support, communications, and outreach that enhance the capabilities of the office. The work done by Josh and the team is crucial, especially during significant weather events where the data provided is instrumental in saving lives. This dedication not only reflects the core values of GAMA-1 but also underscores the impact of committed individuals in advancing critical missions that benefit society at large.
Recognition for exceptional teamwork, such as the accolade received by Josh for his role in publishing the 2023 LEO Science Digest, is a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication that drives successful projects. The JPSS/LEO team’s months-long effort culminated in a cornerstone product that not only reflects their collective expertise but also their commitment to excellence. The LEO Science Digest is shared with pride throughout the scientific community and Josh is critical to that success.
Josh enjoys the customer he works for and takes great pride in being a member of the GAMA-1 family. What he appreciates most is the positive atmosphere that comes from an amazing leadership team.
GAMA-1 appreciates Joshua! Thank you for your continued efforts in advancing the mission and goals of NOAA NESDIS LEO.
The Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites from NOAA, NASA and international partners contribute to more than a half-century of unbroken climate data records. LEO satellites are the backbone of global long-range weather forecasting models, supplying more than 80 percent of the numerical weather prediction model data used for 3 to 7 day forecasts.
