GAMA-1’s NWS Enterprise Cloud Team Recognized for Outstanding Infrastructure Support

October 6, 2025

Client appreciation celebrates quality, timely delivery, and the people behind mission-focused cloud services.

GAMA-1 Technologies is proud to celebrate client recognition of its team supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS) Enterprise Cloud (NEC) contract. The recognition underscores the value of responsive service, technical expertise, and dependable delivery, even when requirements evolve and timelines are demanding.

In a September 3, 2026, email, the NWS Government Cloud Program expressed their appreciation to Ramez Guirguis, Cloud Architect responsible for the NEC implementation for the quality and timeliness of three recent infrastructure developments.

“Despite complex constraints, evolving requirements, and aggressive timelines, you consistently delivered high-impact solutions,” NWS Government Cloud Program wrote. “Your hard work has provided immense value to the enterprise and has not gone unnoticed.”

Delivering Improvements That Matter

Mr. Bowmar highlighted three accomplishments supporting the NEC environment:

  • Enterprise identity management integration. Enterprise NEC Cognito integration provided seamless identity management integration within the CIRRUS environment.
  • Robust certificate management. The design and implementation of SSL certificate management supported the CIRRUS native Kubernetes environment.
  • Automated and security-hardened container image management. An automated container image repository implementation, combined with security hardening, eliminated the environment’s dependency on externally sourced images.

Together, these developments demonstrate the importance of addressing enterprise infrastructure needs with both technical rigor and timely execution.

Recognizing the People Behind the Service

Alongside Ramez’s directly recognized contributions, GAMA-1 highlights Diwakar Puthalapat, Lead Cloud Architect, for his role on the NEC support team.

Cloud architecture, hands-on implementation, and program management each play an important part in translating client requirements into delivered capabilities. Ramez’s and Diwakar’s architectural role and Theresa’s program leadership represent essential dimensions of that coordinated support, alongside the technical execution praised in NWS Government Cloud Program message.

For GAMA-1, this recognition is an opportunity to celebrate not only the solutions delivered, but also the people whose dedication makes responsive, dependable client service possible.

“Our commitment to NOAA and the National Weather Service is reflected in the service our people provide every day such as listening carefully, responding to evolving needs, and delivering with quality and accountability. We sincerely appreciate the NWS Government Cloud Program taking the time to recognize this work. Their message is meaningful to our team, and I am proud of Ramez, Diwakar, and our entire NEC support staff for their dedication to the client and its mission.”

A Shared Commitment to Client Success

GAMA-1 thanks the NWS Government Cloud Program for their thoughtful recognition and the opportunity to support the NWS Enterprise Cloud mission. Their message reinforces what dependable service looks like in practice: understanding the client’s priorities, navigating complexity, and following through with solutions that deliver value.

We congratulate Ramez, Diwakar, and the broader NEC support team for demonstrating GAMA-1’s core values: Reputable. Reliable. Results-focused.
